Zeus Launch System — v0.6.7
Give Syndrome’s launch hardware a second career carrying Kerbal spacecraft!
Inspired by the Omnidroid v.10 deployment rocket from Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles, Zeus Launch System brings its clustered white tanks, ribbed skirts, swept fins, and distinctive silhouette to Kerbal Space Program.
The design combines custom rocket parts with externally supplied Bluedog Design Bureau engines and upper-stage hardware. Its propellant arrangement and spacecraft interfaces are adaptations for KSP.
Features
Four example craft provide a bare stage, a BDB-equipped DCSS configuration, an empty Pathfinder mount, and a complete Pathfinder assembly. Preview images also show an Artemis Construction Kit Orion arrangement above DCSS.
Requirements
The target setup is KSP 1.12.5, BDB v1.14.0, and BDB’s required dependencies. Pathfinder configurations additionally require SPOCK 0.2.1 and its dependencies or higher. Artemis Construction Kit is used for the Orion preview only.
External engines, spacecraft assets, textures, and plugin binaries are not bundled.
Installation and upgrading
Copy "GameData/OmnidroidDeploymentBDB" into your KSP "GameData" folder, and place the supplied craft in your save’s "Ships/VAB" folder. Search OD10BDB or OD10XL in the editor.
Development status
This is an experimental pre-release. Static geometry, configuration, attachment, and sampled separation checks pass, but the mod has not yet been loaded or flown in KSP. Flight balance, structural behavior, resource flow, staging, and fairing shielding still require in-game testing.
